Face Your World Design Studios
Two design studios for the Academy of Architecture Amsterdam based on the Face Your World project for Slotervaart. Face Your World actively engages citizens in the development process of their areas, results from these involvements were part of the studio assignment that asked for climbing wall elements for a new playing ground. Besides the functional framework the students were asked to start their design process from investigating a specific construction material and express in their designs the characteristics of the chosen materials.
